My Journey: From IIT to Innovative Product Leadership

My journey into the world of product management wasn't a straight path; it was a road paved with diverse experiences, each contributing to my unique approach to product management. An alumnus of IIT Varanasi, I began my career in a field far from the tech world – mining engineering. But the seeds of change were sown early. As a child, my fascination with Lotus123 computer software marked the beginning of my tech journey.

Transitioning from mining to business, I pursued an MBA at George Washington University. This pivot wasn't just about gaining business acumen; it was about finding my true calling. The entrepreneurial bug bit me hard, leading me to start a travel company. Although it was short-lived due to financial constraints, it was a valuable lesson in resilience and the power of pivoting with purpose.

My path then led me to an early-stage startup, where I embraced the role of a product manager. Here, I was not just managing products; I was crafting experiences, understanding user needs, and translating them into successful market strategies. It was a role that resonated with my passion for technology and problem-solving. Today, as the Head of Product at Routespring, I apply everything I've learned on this incredible journey to lead and innovate in one of the fastest-growing business travel startups in the USA.

Beyond my role in product management, I am an avid writer and author.
